Welcome to the U.S. Emergency & Disaster Management Congress!

Mission:

The United States Emergency & Disaster Management Congress is a nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c)(6) professional association dedicated to advancing the profession of emergency & disaster management by influencing and shaping law through legislative advocacy, education, and through the establishment of a unified national emergency & disaster management professional standard known as the “model emergency management law” and shared governance. U.S.E&DMC is the professional association of and for emergency management professionals across the United States from all U.S. states, territories, and tribes both public, private, and non-profit – collectively the entire emergency management community.

We seek to bring Emergency & Disaster Management professionals together to advance the professionalization of the field and strengthen state and local emergency and disaster management.
